Karen Karslyan's first poetry collection

Գրողի ծոցը -- loosely translated as Writer's Unblock -- is a collection of thirty-eight deformed hayrens, the medieval Armenian poetic form. 


Composed by Karen Karslyan in the last decade, it's the author's first book of poetry in Armenian. Karen is the author of Postmodern American Poetry: An anthology (1999), and, X Frames/Sec (2003). His work has appeared in several periodicals and anthologies.

Published by the prestigious Inknagir Literary Club in Yerevan, Armenia on June, 2010, Writer's Unblock is divided into three parts: Deformed HayrensHumongous Hayrens and A Bonus Hayren


Writer's Unblock  is currenly on sale in Armenia, at Noyan Tapan, Artbridge, and the Club. It will soon be available in the U.S. A book launch event is scheduled at Abril Bookstore in Glendale, CA, and volumes will become available for online purchase soon after.
